Joel Flachs

Joel Flachs formed J&R Investments in August 2005 to acquire and manage a variety of commercial property types. A real estate broker licensed in the states of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and a broker-appraiser in Pennsylvania, he brings an extensive knowledge of the local real estate markets, expertise in investment sales and retail leasing/tenant representation. Joel has located, raised equity, managed and acted as general partner for seven office buildings, two shopping centers, fifteen industrial buildings, and more than 400 apartment units as well as continuing specialty retail and investment brokerage. Prior to forming J & R Investments, Joel was a Director of the Investment Services Group for Colliers L & A, the regional affiliate of Colliers International. Previously he was Chairman, Broker and Director of Bala Properties Group, which leased and managed various properties totaling more than 2,000,000 square feet of office, commercial and residential space, several of which he acquired for partnerships controlled by him. He also has served as shareholder, officer and director of Isard-Greenberg Company for six years where he was responsible for leasing, management and brokerage functions as well as locating and analyzing new projects.

Alisha Mancinelli

Alisha Mancinelli is the accounting and investor manager, and has more than 26 year of expertise in finance, marketing, and operations management. She earned both her bachelor’s degree in Accounting and her master’s degree in Marketing from Saint Joseph’s University. Alisha began her career in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers, later transitioning into corporate finance and business operations roles at the headquarters of David’s Bridal Wawa, Inc. Since 2015, she has been a key member of the J&R Investments team, where she oversees all financial operations, property management functions, and investor relations. She is also a licensed real estate agent in the state of Pennsylvania. Outside of work, Alisha enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and volunteering at her children’s school and throughout her community.

William Whitmore, Jr.

An active and knowledgeable real estate investor with various commercial holdings in his portfolio, William (Bill) most recently served as Chairman of the Board of Allied Universal Security Services, a $5.3 billion integrated security services provider. Previously President and CEO of SpectaGuard, which eventually became AlliedBarton Security Services, Bill grew AlliedBarton from a small, regional security company into one of the most respected firms in the industry. From June 2004 to January 2009, he served on the Private Sector Senior Advisory Committee of the Homeland Security Council, appointed by President George W. Bush. He is Chairman of the Board of the Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation, Board Member Emeritus of the Philadelphia Police Foundation, and former Chair of the Philadelphia University Board of Trustees. Bill’s family office is Wonder Works.

Sanford Lipstein

Sanford (Sandy) possesses a broad background in structuring company financing, acquisitions, mergers and dispositions. After spending 15 years in public accounting, he joined Spectacor as CFO in 1985 and retired as CFO of Comcast-Spectacor in 2008. Sandy serves on the boards of the Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation and Flyers Charities. Serving in director and officer roles, he has provided leadership to several foundations and nonprofit organizations throughout southeast Pennsylvania including Chester County Hospital, Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge, and Turning Points for Children.

Kevin Collins

Kevin Collins is an Executive Managing Director for M&T Realty Capital Corporation (M&T RCC), and the Life Company & Structured Finance Platform Manager. An industry veteran with over 25 years of experience, he is responsible for originating commercial mortgage loans for 25+ life insurance companies, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, CMBS and debt fund investors. Kevin also manages the relationships with 24 investors that M&T RCC has longstanding origination relationships with as well as a loan servicing portfolio of approximately $4 billion.

Kevin joined M&T RCC in January 2017 via the acquisition of Carey, Kramer, Pettit, Panichelli & Associates (CKPP). Kevin joined CKPP in 2000 as an investment analyst expanding his role into an originator/analyst in 2005. Kevin has been involved in the origination, underwriting, closing and asset management of over $5 billion of commercial mortgages in his 20+ year career with CKPP/M&T RCC. While an expert in the life insurance company space, he has extensive experience with numeroud other debt sources as well.

Prior to joining CKPP/M&T RCC, Kevin was an Associate in the Corporate Value Consulting group at Arthur Andersen LLP and began his commercial real estate career as an investment analyst in the commercial mortgage banking group at Legg Mason Real Estate Services, which was subsequently acquired by Northmarq. Mr. Collins holds a BA in Business Administration from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania and is a licensed real estate salesperson in Pennsylvania.
